Homosexuality?

I'm going to try to keep an open mind about this film. First off you should know I'm not pro homosexuality in any way (I'm against it) However the film does seem to have an interesting plot. I just want to know how prevalent homosexual themes are in it (if any). I have a feeling it's not really there, but it just examines it a little bit.

Any input?

There are mild homosexuality themes in it. But the movie is really going for the soul, not the body. If you're worried about guy on guy action, there is none. It's mainly an emotional experiance, that ignores the physical if that makes any sense.

Big fat spoiler alert.

What some gay people have taken umbrage and been somewhat hostile about on this board is the denouement of this film. The complaint seems to be, and as a heterosexual (although not 'against homosexuality' as the poster of this thread says he is) I'm paraphrasing, is that the main male character and his true eternal love - now reincarnated as a 17-year-old schoolboy decide to commit suicide rather than carry on in their present form. To me this was no homophobic sleight on gays but two heterosexual people wanting to consummate their relationship but unable to as they are both male.
If they commit suicide there's a possibility they may be reincarnated as male and female, as they were when they originally met.
Anyway, enough of a ramble, that's my take on it anyway.

Thanks you two. I figured it would of just examined it as a "potential" or so to speak. Or mild undertones. But as an overall message talking about the soul which poster 2 has said.

Anyway thanks guys!

You should re-think yourself completely. Being against homosexuality is the same as being against homosexuals. And this is nearly the same as being against other races.

By the way, this movie is about love. I hope you watched it. Could have made you think!
