Catholic School

What were the circumstances that resulted in Hannah attending Catholic school
with Grace? Hannah's family is Jewish-were they not practicing Jews? It's
been awhile since I've the show or it's pilot episode so I don't remember.
I could look it up on Wikipedia but I would rather get feedback from the fans
on this board. Thanks.

I can't honestly remember either, so this is a total guess, but it was probably because it was the best school in town, and Hannah was smart. Trust me, you don't have to be Catholic to go to Catholic school.

reply

Yes, but Catholics believe in the Trinity( The Father, the Son(Christ) and the Holy Ghost). The Jewish faith believes in God but not Christ. Must be awkward
for Hannah to have to sit through Catholic school lessons that might incorporate the principles of the Christian faith.

yeah i think it was the best school in her area. lol. what i didn't get is that they went from having uniforms. to having casual fridays to having to uniforms i dont remember why though...

I went to a Christian school for a long time, and there was a Buddhist girl in my class. She said her parents sent her to the school because it was the best one around.

reply

Yea, one of my best friends is very Jewish but goes to a Catholic school because it is the best school in the area. It happens.
