Great Series!

Although the series originally aired in 2002 / 2003, I just watched both seasons this week. Yet another example of a great series from the UK that didn't make it here to North America (at least I don't remember ever hearing about it until recently).

I absolutely loved this series although I was unsure after the first 10 minutes of the initial episode. By the end, when Claire's banging her head against the bathroom door, crying... I was in tears myself. Hilarious!!! I would have loved for the series to go another season or two but I'll take what I can get.

The way the theme of each book affected each of the characters or played out in their relationships during each episode was wonderful. A great series that wasn't "in your face" funny; the humour was, at times, obvious but more often than not it was subtle.

Has anyone put together a list of all the books that were "read" during the series? I noticed that someone had a partial list for series 2 in another post.
