It grew on me.

I got to say this show grew on me. I almost quit after the first couple of episodes but I'm glad I didn't. The plot leaves a lot to be desired but the characters became very endearing. Obviously most of the characters were over-the-top but after enough watching I started to appreciate the subtlety of the writing. I get tired of formulaic shows and this one broke enough of the rules that I ended up enjoying the whole two seasons. I probably could've watched a couple more.
