Question about Kenny

Wow I don't even know if I am going to get an answer since this is an old series and it looks like not many people watch this show, but I'll try anyway. Did anyone think in episode 2 of season 1 the interaction between Kenny and the pool lady was kind of odd and uncomfortable?

At first I thought he came off a little rude at the end before he got into the taxi but I guess she was coming on too strongly or he just wasn't into her.

Then later on though he flirts with Clare and kisses her.

Maybe that's the point it's a show about uncomfortable reactions. Thoughts?

I just don't think he was into the pool lady. She was way too aggressive for his tastes. He's got a bit of a crush on Clare, though.

I got the impression that she was a prostitute. He asked her at one point if she was a whore and she answered yes.
