How was Godot going to help them?

I don't get what Godot was going to do for these two men. How could he improve their lives? I am not interested though in an interpretational answers, example, Godot is God and was going to fulfill their lives, etc. What does the play suggest he is going to do for them? I never caught on to that.

Well, I think that's the question they should be asking each other. Godot can't really help them because he is likely not to come at all.

Godot was going to help them purchase that fine plot or real estate.

The tramps are both unemployed, so the most likely answer is that Godot will hire them and have them working for him. Just like he employs the little boy and his brother.

At one point, Vladimir mentions that if Godot comes, they might be sleeping in his loft, on hay. That implies he will provide them with housing, instead of a ditch. Yet another clue that he'd employ them somehow.

Cheers man, I checked out the stage play a couple of weeks ago.
