I really wanted.....

to like this film. I have been impressed with all the actors in previous films and I just couldn't get into being around so many selfish folk. Maybe a "Deleted Scenes" section in the DVD I rented could have supplied insight into caring about such people.

The acting was top-notch but the dialogue - ouch....

Other than the conversations between the husband and wife, it was frustrating to listen to dialogue that sounded like a first time screenwriter wanting to say something impressive.

The music, settings, costuming were terrific.
