Not a pixar movie and still great

Personally I don't get the hype with pixar the only movies I like are toy story and a bugs life. I think Lilo and Stich is just as good as both of those movies. I don't get all the hate with Disney, I think they made great movies.

There's hate for Disney Movies? Usually I see love of Disney and Pixar and hate or non-acknowledgment of other studios. It's all odd, especially when you consider the creative forces behind each film. This one is by Dean Dublois and Chris Saunders. Dean and Chris directed the first How To Train Your Dragon and Dean was part of the writing team. Dean went on to co-write and to direct How To Train Your Dragon 2. He also co-wrote Mulan. Chris has credits as a writer in Mulan, Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast. He also co-wrote and co-directed The Croods. All of these are awesome films produced by Disney or Dreamworks. When I consider the body of Chris and Dean's work, I can start to see a signature and I like that.

People dislike disney movies compared to pixar and they like the ugly bubblness of pixar vs the hand drawn beauty of disney.

The "bubbleness" comes from 3D modeling. I guess you're talking about people preferring the older art of Disney. Today, Disney makes 3 D films, too, such as Tangled, Big Hero 6, and Frozen.

Frozen is a horrible movie that I will never show my daughters, I prefer the old animation style and I think there should be a prince. My daughter has her whole life to be sad and single, I want her to hope and dream for a prince, you know they don't exist but it is fiction for goodness sake.

Really? I like an old fashioned fairy tale myself, but am equally happy and even thrilled when stories step away from the formula for variety's sake and for the sake of balance. Too much of the Cinderella type story and young girls grow up believing they must find a man to solve all their problems. Isn't it better to feel empowered? Not just for girls, but for boys, too? I think that's why I love Lilo and Stitch, because the characters deal with their problems with the support of one another, in a realistic way, as opposed to the deus ex machina style prince who whisks in and rescues. I love the innovation and spirit of Lilo and the commitment and hard work of her older sister. I love Hiccup in How to Train Your Dragon because he uses his brain to come up with innovations that better the lives of his people. The same could be said of Guy in The Croods and the gang of kids in Big Hero 6. I love that Astrid is a tough girl in HTTYD and Po overcomes his obvious obstacles and learns to concentrate and focus his power. I wouldn't want to lose the old classic films and stories, because they are beautifully told and a part of our culture, but I'm glad they aren't the only stories available.

I wouldn't want any of those stories to be shown to my child, that is just me personally. I think it is horrible people liked stupid frozen over the Frog Princesses just because the story was too "dreary". I think Frozen is dreary and stupid, with vapid, stereotypical characters and that isn't what I want my child to learn.

I like you already. 

Why the comparison between company labels? You do understand that there are individuals who work there, and thus such a comparison between Disney and Pixar isn't exactly reasonable in this sense? Sure, each studio has their own philosophy and attracts certain kinds of people. But I think looking at a studio as a collective isn't very fair. Every movie typically has a different group of people working on it, even within the same studio.

if you don´t get the hype with pixar movies, why are you having a headline that indicates that pixar movies are usually great?
