Did Manuel actually abuse Ignacio?

When Ignacio threatens to blackmail Manuel, the way he talks about it made me think actual abuse didn't happen. Ignacio says things like "I could feel how you held me" or something like that, it seems to imply that Ignacio could sense Manuel desired him and but the father never really acted on it.

In the bathroom scene he said he would do whatever Fr Manolo wanted if Enrique wasn't expelled. The voiceover then said it was the first time he had sold himself. Clearly there had been abuse...you just need to connect the dots
