Not rude. Just expressing an opinion. If you look at my posting history, you'll see I'm generally nice to my fellow posters.

However, I saw the film. It was terrible. He did LXG. Which was one of the worst films ever made, even without considering how excellent the source material is.

Just my take on things. Don't be offended. :) No harm meant.

Ah, so I say 'no harm meant,' and I get a *kicks gregg in the butt.*

Rather immature. Again, just expressing an opinion. I found the last minute to be derivative of a number of films including, but not limited to, train spotting, run lola run, and wild at heart.

I really didn't see anything all that original, even with the various references to coolidge and others. I found the Jason Isaacs part to be arbitrary at best, and the Olver! meets Heroin to be an attempt at humor where there really didn't need to be.

Rude, as you probably know on this forum, would have meant I made some outlandish comments--ie: if I had called you, or any other poster on here a name. All I did was express my opinion on a film, and give my two cents on a filmmaker.

You, however, called me out on being *rude*, which I was not.

LXG is one of the worst films ever made. Check out its tomatometer rating, even check out 'the last minute,' and see that this opinion isn't that uncommon.

But, given your *kicks gregg in the butt* comment, and calling me rude, when I wasn't, you're being added to my ignore list. Not interested in having a debate on cyber etiquette, when I haven't done or said anything wrong. And you're welcome for bumping this thread back up.

^ I didn't realize the original poster was a teen. To the original poster: If I have offended you in some way, I do apologize. Obviously, I have not enjoyed the films of Norrington, especially LXG. I'm a fan of the LXG comic by Alan Moore, and could not believe that such a fine book was reduced to one of the worst films of the year.

Tommygirl1999: rottentomatoes.com is smug and self-serving? It's a broad canvas of critics from around the world, from larger periodicals and from smaller ones as well.

Again, I've not aimed any insult at you, but you've flung another insult at me. Mass-Com major? Actually, love, it's professor.
:)

But, shoo. Have fun. :-D

came back, and the person I was speaking with has left.

And their profile has disappeared.

Well, I hadn't intended for all that. Merely defending my position against someone's rudeness. Ah, well. C'est la vie. :)
