Vincent's abilities
Okay, so if his only special ability was immunity to the nanomachines, how the heck was he able to shove his fingers into Skyke's chest?

Well... there's no Super Heroes in the series. I imagine it's cause he's strong, and he caught Spike off guard. He was in army special forces or something, I can't remember what they called it in the movie. I imagine he's not a wimp.
"...and everything under the Sun is in tune, but the Sun is Eclipsed by the Moon...." -DSotM.
its a martial arts move called tiger claw, I saw the same thing in Fearless last night
Life is the greatest teacher....it is a shame that it ends up killing all its students
I acutaly laughed when Vincent used that move on Spike a few times near the end. I was like, he's jsut grabbing chunks of Spike's flesh and squeesing.
shareI may be wrong because I haven't seen the movie in a while, but it was because he was in the Special Forces and he was a sort of guinea pig for an experimental drug that enhanced his abilities.
I thought Spike had him on the ropes, but then Vincent got him in that vice grip. Guy's damn strong. That scene really made me cringe.
Pressure points, perhaps?
When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...
Or, lots of time spent working on finger boards? Either that, or a healthy dose of artistic license...
Pinch of salt anyone?:)
Stay low, move fast. One or two rounds, lots of smoke.
I don`t understand how Spike wasn`t able to fight back or anything after Vincent did that. He`s suffered worse wounds before, but still continued running. Odd.. Lol.
shareLet's get one thing straight, Vincent didn't shove his fingers into Spike's chest, he shoved them into his stomach/solar plexus region. After that, he proceeded to twist, wrenching the muscles in Spike's abdomen and making him feel essentially as if he had pulled all of his stomach muscles at once. This move is somewhat of a myth in the martial arts, but for the person who said this was done in Fearless, that's incorrect, in that case Jet Li's character put spiral energy into the punch that hit his opponent's chest because linear force doesn't reverberate, but circular force does, which is how the guy's heart stopped.
But that's off topic, the point is, the Tiger Style technique Vincent uses on the train is not possible, but since it's an anime, they took some liberties with reality for the sake of inducing a really brutal, nasty looking attack.
