Live Action Movie!

So apparently they're making a live action movie of Blood The last Vampire. Ronny Yu is directing (he directed Fearless, Bride of Chucky, and Freddy vs. Jason.) I'm curious to see what happens with this.

note: It will be in English with Asian and American Actors.

Actually the director was changed to Chris Nahon (Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li) a while back. Though they are still using Ronny's script and he's still one of the producers.

And it isn't just American actors and Asian actors but also European as well.

it's baaaaaad..... and not in a good way. it was like watching the bastard, red-headed step-child of blade & underworld but done hong kong-style. in other words, sub-par acting, but a few nifty fight scenes (although 1 weird scene involved saya fighting 2 basketball player sized black vampires dressed in 70s disco attire and super afros inside of some butcher's kitchen. there was also TOO much cg blood; more than i've ever seen before). the story was nothing like the anime (only slightly based on the last vampire) and seemed either borrowed from hollywood or simply slapped together cuz no one really cared about the final product. still, people always find reasons to like horrible films so this lame adaptation will have its fans.

In other words, it's crap. Now my question is this: is the live-action movie set in the continuity of the anime movie, is set in the continuity of the TV series Blood +, or is it in a different continuity of its own?
