Umm, why did they need her?

In the series (which is inferior by the way) they at least give you the explanantion that the only way to truly destroy the creatures is to use Saya's blood. So why is it they must use Saya in the film?

I haven't seen the series, but apparently the only 100% way of killing the demons is with her blood. She also feeds the last monster her blood at the end too.

Yes, I remember the scene. But what about all of the other ones she killed? She didn't use her blood on any of them.
