well..this is a quiet board for such a good film

Spread this movie around to friends. It's good and I believe it hasn't received the recognition it's due. Nither has Ana Reader, she is such a good acctress.

I was into it before it was cool.

I found this film uncomfortable in that it was too real. I like movies because they allow me to escape everyday life. What I saw in "Acts of Worship" hit too close to home because too many people I love have been afflicted with the same addiction. I could not even finish viewing the film, although I give props to the people involved in its creation. Too realistic...

WOw I'm surprised this board is so empty too! I thought there'd be alot more discussion! It was definately one of the better "drug" movies - very realistic and unglamorous. I thought the popular "Spun" didn't hold a candle to this movie.
I still think Requiem for a Dream holds the throne for the most wrenching drug movie ever made, but this was excellent - superb acting. The ending brought alot together, it showed things in a light that isn't comfortable and often avoided in films. Thank god for the indie genre to show us life as it really is, no matter how much it hurts!
