the king of comedy drinks magic wine and learns how to sing

i remember rodney was on "the tonight show" in, i think 2003, to promote this film. he said it was something diffrent, becouse the critics seemed to like it.
a reviewer of this movie states that it was sad to see this movie since rodney is gone. but luckily i checked this out when it was brand new and rodney was still around,
according to me, it's not funnier than "Meet Wally Sparks" (1997) and "My Five Wives" (2000). i like the footage and settings. i guess this was a good "final" to rodney's movie career if you care about that kind of stuff.
alote of people think entertainers should "quit while they're on top", but if that was the case, i probrably wouldn't have discovered rodney's comedy. also, alote of hip/great things would never have been made.
so i couldn't disagree more than with the people who has that opinion.
no other comedian of his generation went near the kind of hip comedy he used. really a unique cat.
i had friends my age who found rodney hilarious too, we used to check out rodney's "joke of the day" on his website every day after school.

i have tried as good as i could,
i've tried to do what's right and what's good,
if i failed, there's not much more i can do,
maybe i used the wrong moves, i'm sorry if i dissapointed you,
please don't look at me with a recentfull eye,
don't let there be a bitter goodbye, please don't cry,
i have tried to do what's right and what's good,
i have tried as good as i could.
