Nicole Wallace

Umm....wasn't her heart delivered in a box by Declan Gage? Or maybe it was his fruit loops daughter I forget. DNA verified it was her's even if recall. now I get she faked her death by building up a supply of her own blood when she did that at the dock's. but it's not like you can cut your own heart out and just wander down the street whistling ya know. By the end of that episode it seemed everyone involved pretty much opened up about all their motives and actions. They explained the whole Nicole death thing perfectly. i was sad she was gone as a role but it made sense and I could deal with how they left it. But here she is , it's Olivia in the role. In a French made English language show called Jo. She is the main villain in episode 8 of season 1. She is named Nicole Wallace , the prints come back from N.Y. as Wallace , they make it very very clear that this is the same Nicole Wallace we all enjoyed from the Law & Order series. But the box...with the heart.....the box....dammit this is never going to get cleared up either. So at the risk of sounding like Brad Pitt in Se7en , if it wasn't Nicole's heart in the box "What was in the box....ohh whaaaats in the box? Whats in the fckn box!" Thought's , theories , ideas? Or even better fact's? I would have thought Law & Order had the rights to the role but considering not one other member of the series was mentioned , it was referred to that she was wanted in N.Y. and that she had been declared dead by the NYPD. But no mention of Goren or anything like that I have no idea. Is she just going to pop up in random shows from time to time ala Richard Belzers Detective Munch (Law & Order , Homicide : Life on the Street , X-Files , Law & Order : SVU , The Wire , The Beat , Arrested Development , 30 Rock , The Muppet Show - As a Muppet Munch no less....spanning 5 networks that's impressive sh@t.) But I digress , The Wallace role is the type that could cross over into various shows easily. Perhaps the start of something , or more perhaps a one time shot.

Declan's Daughter had been incapcitated in jail. Declan lied about having gone to see her. That being said, she couldn't have done anything this time. Remember in the end when Declan said he felt bad about Goren being in a funk after his mother died? He said he wanted to engage Goren, give him a puzzle to solve. Declan killed Goren's junkie brother because he felt it was only bringing Goren down. Declan was in league with Nicole then. But then he double-crossed Nicole and killed her. Maybe you can spread some of your blood around. But if the tissue from the heart matches Nicole, then it's hers. She IS dead. Remember when Declan said that Nicole realized she was going to die and said, "Tell Bobby he's the only man I ever loved. .."

I don't think it holds any real canonicity with what happened in this show (and I really want to think the same of Eames's appearances on SVU). I don't exactly remember, but wasn't it established that she could no longer conceive? Yet she's perfectly fertile here.

Anyway the two shows have the same creator/developer.

And so Governor Devlin, because even the cost of freedom can be too high, I REFUSE your pardon!

Jo was very similar to Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Not as much as Paris EnquĂȘtes Criminelles, that was a french version of LOCI, but the same narrative style. So I really enjoyed Nicole Wallace cameo. I guess it suited the show. And even if they never referred to Goren, they mentioned two or three times the "NY's detective". The fans know who he is.

Anyway, in that Jo episode I was under the impression that Nicole switched her DNA sample with the heart's donor. Don't ask me how. She was resourceful. And she managed to escape again. Had Jo been renewed we would see a lot of Nicole

I loved her in every episode she was in, god love her. I think the reason I enjoyed her so much was that no one else could call Bobby on his BS like she did. Even Eames simply nagged and dealt with the fall out because he respected her but he plowed right through her. I can't think of a time he changed his course because of her council. But Wallace knew where he lived and used it. It rattled him enough he actually heard what she said. And that makes her really important because he's always looking over his shoulder for her to make an appearance because he hears her before she's ever there.

Huh?

What are you all talking about in these posts? This makes me feel as if I have been asleep for the past several years. What is with the possibility of Nichole not being dead? Nichole was always weird, but didn't ever strike me as a zombie.

Who is Keyser Soze?

She returned in a show called Jo that is also made by Rene Balcer.

Thank you.

I take that the show was cancelled and That Nicole Wallace in all her incarnations are gone forever.

When the Law and Order franchise was around, a lot of actors were recycled. Somebody said one actor played thirty roles in the various Law and Order series over the years. Not sure if that is true, but it seemed at least not much of an exaggeration. Did the character of Nichole Wallace seem to be repeated in her character in "Joe?" Did she talk, walk, act in a similar manner? Was she an educated, charming sociopath similar to Nicole Wallace?

Rene Balcer was the showrunner, it had a respectable cast (Jean Reno and Jill Hennessy), Olivia D'Abo played the part and she did keep killing people-maybe, and they talk about "the NY cop". The biggest thing, though, is that the IMDb filmography for Nicole Wallace (character) lists both shows. I've never gotten to see it so if I've grossly misrepresented anything someone please correct me but I gotta say it sure catches my interest.
