Bedfellows eppy

So, am i DENSE:

As many times I have seen this episode I never caught the little homages to the movie Strangers on a Train...LOL

The merry-go-ground, the two women taking the trips on the train where one planned and the other scoffed, the tennis game, the crazy and eccentric parent (in this case the father)...

OI!

Those were definitely homages to 'Strangers' but that episode is actually based on the murders of the Kissel brothers in 2005 and 2006. Nancy Kissel murdered her husband with a pink "Halloween" milkshake and hid his body in the storage unit for 4 days in the basement. There are numerous other likenesses to the real cases. The brothers' relationship and parallels in that episode are unmistakeable. If you aren't familiar with the case, you must look it up. Andrew Kissel's murder is still unsolved and together the two make a fascinating and tragic case.

I did know it was based on the Kissels. I like this show because its fun guessing which cases the episodes are based on.

I read a book on them. Weird people...what money does to ya, eh?
