Does everyone just pray for it to be a Goren episode or is it just me

Any thoughts

I responded with something earlier, but as I am watching these and skipping the Logan episodes, it makes me glad I borrowed these from the library and did not purchase the seasons 5 and up....lol

Shut it, hockeyfan. Lol!!
You've overused your "lol's" and what you are saying isn't even remotely funny.

So: a realistic, down to earth show..which is completely off the wall swarming with magic robots?!

The early episodes with him I love but when his shtick got to be too much I had to stop watching. The whole broken neck thing is annoying to me.

I much prefer the ones with Chris Noth and Julianne Nicholson.

Couldn't tolerate Goldbloom (he was a Goren clone) and Samantha Buck and Annabella had as much personality and screen presence as a plank of wood.

That is the way I am. I really prefer Goren. No one can solve cases like Goren.

Be careful who you hate, it could be someone you love.

I am enjoying Goldbloom too, but how do they bring Goren back, I saw Eames fire him recently......... guess I will just keep watching them late night and see what happens.

In the later years I got so I preferred the episodes without Goren. I always loved Eames. I enjoyed Noth with whomever and loved Jeff Goldblum. I thought that his character was interesting and enjoyed his "father." I really didn't care for Saffron Burrows. Like so many others said, I thought that she was wooden.

Yes! If it doesn't have Goren... I'm not watching :)

It just must be you because I live for the Logan episodes. The Logan episodes are so superior to the Gorne episodes it isn't funny.

Mike Logan was the obvious choice for Law and Order Criminal Intent. I do not know why he coudn't see this.

... and I thought it was just me who does that. LOL Guess I am not as alone as I think.

It's interesting, as seasons 1-5, when show creater Rene Balcer was head writer, were clearly the best, and 4 of those seasons were all Goren, so the best episodes are usually with Goren and Eames. Also the presence of Deakins and Carver in the first 5 seasons made the show better than the later seasons. That being said, I loved a lot of the Mike Logan episodes ( Logan has always been one of my favorite L&O characters ) and some of the Nichols episodes were good as well. It had more to do with the writing than the cops. In seasons 6-7 with Warren Leight at the helm the show became a soap opera and had lots of awful episodes, and 8 and 9 had some clunkers as well. Season 10 pretty much got back to classic CI for its 8 episodes.
