Barry Allen?
I know that Wally West was in the cartoons but what happened to Barry Allen?
shareIt's never said if there even *is* a Barry Allen. Wally works for the Central City Police Department (but as a lab tech, not the forensic scientist Barry was), which he didn't in the comics, so it's possible the writers just combined the two and used Wally's name.
shareEssentially. I believed they went with Wally, since he was appearing in the current comics; but, used some of the Barry Allen elements, as well. The personality was all Wally, though.
Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
To be specific, the personality was all post-Titans Wally. The Wally West of Marv Wolfman's landmark Titans run is very different from the Wally West of the Justice League and solo book runs.
