The first two seasons

Why isn't CW rerunning any episodes from the first two seasons? I'm a fan of "Justice League Unlimited", but the first two seasons had some great stories as well.

Just a guess since I haven't been watching it on CW, but maybe it's because the first two seasons were all 2-parter episodes? If they're showing the episodes out of order, that format wouldn't work.

They're showing them in order. They show "Spectacular Spider-Man" and some of those episodes were two-parters.

I've wondered this myself. Maybe whoever programs the Saturday morning shows on CW thinks Unlimited is better because it has more heroes?

reply

But it would be great to see the progression of the team.

Yes it would.

While I like Unlimited, I prefer the first two seasons where we saw the seven core members interact and develop in each episode.

Not to mention I like the opening theme and credits from the first two seasons more as well.

Yes, the original opening and it's musical score were much better.

No matter how many times I see the original opening, it sends a chill down my spine. I get goosebumps!

i agree completely. i also prefer the theme tune too. my only criticism is that i wish the episodes weren't all 2-parters.

before we get started, does anyone want to get out?

They may not own the rights anymore. I think it would be smart though if The CW took over as the place for DC cartoons over Cartoon network. Cartoon network doesn't know what they are doing with the properties they have.

Even though I don't mind Teen Titans Go, Young Justice was a much better series than both versions of Teen Titans, mainly because it was for both adults and children much like the original DCAU shows.

The CW could easily put reruns of the older DCAU shows on during Saturday and Sundays when they have no programming. They would work perfectly with the current line up of TV that they have. Compared to the silly shows on Cartoon Network.
