Things you'll miss

I don't speak Korean or Chinese so the two languages sound the same to me. I read the subtitles. I was watching Musa with a Korean friend and she would tell me when each language was used. It turns out that a lot of times that is important. For example, the Princess does not understand Korean. General Choi always speaks to the princess in Chinese except in one scene. In the scene where he admits to her that he is a coward, he is speaking in Korean. Also, in all of the scenes with Yeosol and the Princess, he was speaking in Korean and she in Chinese. This explains to me why their conversations always sounded like two monologues and why they never seemed to communicate.
