This is the worst film I've ever seen.

Really. 4.9 stars average, my ass.

So, what other two films have you seen?

reply

Seveveral hundred before you were even born if I can take your reply to mean you enjoyed Wendigo.

reply

Never said that, but it's FAR from the worst movie I've ever seen.

reply

not the worst but still pretty bad

reply

wat do u mean not the worst?! it definitely is!!!!!!!!! i cant believe it can be anything other than the worst. it has no plot, the wendigo is only in 1 part and mentioned only once, and that once had nothing to do with the movie, the other part was someone running through the woods and out of nowhere the wendigo kills him. it made absolutely no sense. the movie had nothing to do with what it was supposed to mean. i'd rather stare at a wall for 10 hours than watch this movie for 2 hours or however long it is, i seriously pity anyone who gave it anything other than a 1 vote. and for those who believe in self opinion, so do i, but not in this case, only someone who watches like 2 movies a year could like a movie as bad as this. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, NEVER WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think i'll still sleep fine at night with out having to watch it again

p.s. island of the dead is the worst movie i've seen, this is prob. 2nd

reply

I think there are seven driving scenes in the movie! People are in cars doing nothing for about 1/3 of the movie.

reply

at least some people appreciate my opinion, and y would someone waste 2 hours of their life rewatching a movie they hate?????

Oo! Oo! I can answer that one!

We keep coming back because very, very few of us have any real personality change after the age of 12. Most 'adults' are desperately trying to hide the instincts and motivations of the child they were in the 6th grade.

I don't believe any of our personalities really change after the age of 12.

i keep coming bak to this because i wan to prevent others from wasting their life watching this movie. and obviously u 2 havent had personality changes either considering the fact that your making fun of a kid who's trying to prevent people from wasting money on a movie they wont even enjoy. i know some people enjoyed it, but not many. and can you tell me y YOU keep coming bak to this post?

I have to ask how many film's you have seen to make this decision? I've just checked the 'My Movies' section of Imdb and see I've voted on 1027 films in the past three years (and there were many many more before then but the computer screwed up). In my opinion, and with that much film knowledge, I'd say this film was ....... OK. Started off creepy and reminded me of The Shining. The lack of constant rock music like in the typical glossy teen murdering 'I know what you screamed last Friday 13th Freddy' films added to the sense of dread. BUT the ending was deeply unsatisfactory. If the Wendigo carried the father home after he (accidentally) killed the deer why did it let him die in hospital? Was Otis going to live or die? Might have been better if the boy had asked the Wendigo to let his dad live at the expense of Otis. If you liked this (or didn't) let me recommend another couple of creepy films that few saw in cinema's - Session 9 and The Last Broadcast.

>The most effective monster movies are those which show little of the actual monster until the very end.

well, that works out when there is aNY suspense, but in this movie there is neither suspense , not even scheme ... the plot doesnt follow any kind of line?whats the story about? the wendigo? psycho redneck?, a mix of all of this together one giving place to this senseless movie, certainly the edittings are *beep* like trying to make some personality, but its such a *beep* a BIG ENORMOUS *beep* even that music ... for godness shake
