I thought it was good and creepy. I don't see why everyone is completely attacking this movie as if were the worst movie in cinematic history! You people need to chill out and take a pill. Try to comment on the movies you LIKED. Plus, this is an independant horror film. It's a genre that some people protest against. If you don't like it, tough.
By the way, am I the only one who was creeped out by the ending scene?

It had its moments - the end scene with the boots being one of the better ones. The stag was pitiful though. I've seen far better, but have also seen worse. (5/10).
Anyone seen Unholy? I had high expectations of that after all the online hype, but it turned out to be total crap. Maybe I would have thought more of it if I came to it without them, but I seriously doubt it. At least I saw that for free - and even then I want my time back...lol! (1/10)
And I've seen worse than Unholy too; Sleepwalkers springs to mind. (-10/10)
I to don't get why people seem to loath this movie so much. Maybe it's the lack of big hollywood production values, or the slow pacing, perhaps just because theres no big titted teenage bimbo running round screaming. Personally I think these are all the good points! The vast majority of recent horror films do nothing for me, they certainly aren't scary. I love the kind of psychological horror in films like Wendigo, I find it genuinely creepy and unsettling. Wendigo has more in common with films like The Shining or Lost Highway that focus on an underlying tension rather than the "boo factor". 7/10
shareBecause the sex scene was really not necessary and it was gross. Also the monster looked like crap and was not consistent with the actual "wendigo" described in Algonquian mythology. While it held some similarities, it just wasn't enough for me to feel satisfied.
