Black Horizon

I have no idea why but IMDB thinks this movie is called Stranded. It is actually called Black Horizon. I just rented it from Hollywood Video and thats what its called. Maybe its called Stranded in another country or something....

There's a Spanish movie made around the same time. It stars Vincent Gallo (Buffalo'66, the Brown Bunny), but it's original title is Stranded as well. That's the the title it's been released here.
Maybe that's the reason why they changed this movie's title to Black Horizon.

I saw the shorts for this movie on tv, I thought it looks decent enough, to watch if there is nothing else on, they advertised it as Stranded, so I went to the video shop to rent it, and it was about these people stuck on Mars, I was like huh, I thought it was about a Space Station, now I know why. Anyways the other one was crap. It really bugged me for months, because I was so sure that it was about people stuck on a Space Station, but I thought same name, in space must be the right movie.....anways thought I'd share my little crappy story.

In Germany it was called Stranded - Rettung im All (Stranded - Rescue in Space). I think I should've invested my time in staring at a wall rather than watching this when it was on tv.

In Australia it's called 'Stranded'. There's another European-made science fiction film called 'Stranded' as well. And a Swiss Family Robinson-style film called 'Stranded' also.

It's all very confusing :P.

I got a bit confoozed because the pic obviously says "Black Horizon" and that title is listed as an "AKA", so I don't know why it would be listed on imbd as "Stranded" as the first title.
