Sequel??

I have not seen this movie yet because I can't find it anywhere. Is this a sequel to "event horizon"?

Nobody in there right mind would make a Sequel to this film.

No, this is not a sequel to "Event Horizon" (which is a sci-fi/horror film that has gained a cult following on its own).

And paraphrasing tau-7, nobody in their left mind would make a sequel to Stranded (2001/I) either.

I had this film running in the background without audio while I read up on the much more interesting plot synopsis of "Event Horizon" on Wikipedia...

Suddenly I noticed a clip from in scene which showed both English and ostensibly Russian-language labels of whatever functions of some kind of a console to a space vessel (either the shuttle or most probably the station itself). The caveat was that the Russian-language labels consisted of gibberish typed in Cyrillic.

Another production mistake was that the labels looked like cutouts of printed paper and the type was a variation of Times, maybe even Times New Roman for both languages. The production crew could have done some research (should have at least checked the dictionaries) or even asked one of the actors fluent in Russian to translate these for them.

If bilingual labels were really intended, they should have been made in some very durable form, painted or laser-marked.
