black horizon/stranded?

Phew!!!! Did this movie ever stink!!!... I could write volumes on all the mistakes... in the immortal words of the great philosopher Bart Simpson… “This is the first time I’ve seen something that actually sucks and blows at the same time…”
Welding in space!!! Oh! Come on please, what did the director think he was doing!!!... I paid $2.95 to rent this… I would not even pay that to own it… in fact I would not even want to own this movie if they PAID me… Ice T should stick to Law and Order: SVU.

Don’t waste your time OR money… it’s BAD! Very, very bad.

I've seen much worse movies than this one. I am not saying I would buy this movie, or even recomend it, but I have seen MUCH MUCH worse movies than this. BTW, if they can weld underwater, they can weld in space.

If you don't like guns, the next
time you call the police, tell them
to leave their guns at the station.

no. There's no atmosphere in space, but there is underwater. You can't have any sort of fire in space.. there's no oxygen. But there is underwater... fish use it every day.

reply

No fire in space? You mean, like, rocket engines?

reply

Thats hydrogen mixing with oxygen. Its not the traditional fire we are thinking of.

reply

You can weld underwater because the fire breaks up the water into hydrogen and oxygen, which it uses to fuel itself. In space, there's no oxygen. Also, did you notice how, when the camera pans along the hull of the space station, the stars move along with it as though they were painted on a wall perpendicular to the space station surface (which they are).

Also, the interior of the space station looks cheaper than 60s Star Trek sets.

Maybe this film should be in some collection of B-movies with the most amount of production mistakes. The collection could sort films by the amount exhibited and by the severity exhibited.
