just to clarify, how come Marnie was the only witch who never got the gray spell cast on her?

Because she stopped Kal in time. If she hadn't, then she would've.

They Grey spell wasn't effecting her as fast because she is half human

I think it might have something to do with Kal having a thing for her.

I think it has something to do with her time traveling. it made her immune to it. Even Kal was impressed.
