was there supposed to be more of calabars son in the third because at the end of the 2 one they said he'll be back and marnie said and we'll be waiting!

Who was Cal's mom? was it marnie's mom?

No, they had different mothers. Cal's dad Kalibar dated Gwen in high school but she feel in love with a mortal at a Halloween party and had three kids. Kalibar wanted her back but she didn't feel the same.

I wish they would've done 3 the same way with his return and Marnie having to defeat him again.
