At the end, the portal had closed because it was after midnight, right? BUT they had rescued the grandma from the gray spell, and she would again be able to remember the time-travel spell. So instead of coming up with an entirely new spell to open the portal, why didn't they just go back in time by about 5-10 minutes, to before midnight, and THEN open the portal with ease? Anyone else wondered this?
sharehaha I never thought about this! That would have been a great idea. Maybe it still wouldn't have worked though because the portal closing at midnight on Halloween was strict.

Honestly, when I watched it originally, I thought that was actually what they were going to do. While they were figuring out a new spell to use, I wanted to just shake them and yell, "You're doing it the hard way!!!" LOL
