if you listen Mr Parker calls her Angel alot...a little too often for it too be a nickname and also in the film Island of the Haunted the young Parker girl was called Angel by her father just like Miss Parker. Both me and my mum believe her name is Angel and that she is named after the young girl who was killed.

well i found out that it aint Angel and it aint Monica but i was watching my dvds and in the episode not even a mouse when Jarod has his first christmas Miss parker is decorating her tree and holds up a thing that says 'To Mom, Merry X mas Love MP' why would she sign something to her own mum MP (Miss Parker) if she had a first name? which got me thinking what if she doesnt have a first name which would explain a hell of a lot of things dont you think?

I think a previous poster is right - MP must stand for Monica Parker. I just finished the whole series and the only episode where anyone uses a first name is the priest in season 4 - he calls her Monica. Of course, she may have used a fake name when she met him.

Sure it sounds a bit like monica becaus of his accent, but Parker is what he says.

I couldn't really read the rest of it (young Jarod gets in the way) but she might be saying something like "I ...." so she could be telling him she doesn't have a first name, or she could be saying something like 'Andrea.'

No. In one episode, Mr. Parker explains to her why he calls her "Angel". She was painting his house or whatever and little Miss Parker warned him of some sort of danger. After that he started calling her Angel, because she was like a guardian angel.

I don't know about Miss Parker, but from what I've read, it appears that her first name really isn't revealed, assuming that Father Guiseppe says "Parker" and not "Monica".
As for Lyle, his real name is Bob, I forget his last name. Lyle is his adopted father's first name, but his adopted father always insisted that he be addressed as "Mr Lyle", and I guess little Bobby adopted it from him.
Now does anyone know Broots' first name? I think it might've been in the first few episodes but honestly can't remember.

Bobby Bowman. No we never knew Broots first name either....at one point there was this rumour going around it was Michaela, I know thats false but I use it in my head and until there is a third movie I won't do differently.
