shareWell I do not know for sure (yet) because I haven't seen this last movie. But it seems obvious that tey are brother and sister so.....I do not think so!
shareFirst off, I am a huge Jarod/Parker fan! But they aren't brother and sister. In the two part episode Bloodlines ( i believe...i have to double check my tapes), they found out about the Red Files and Jarod did DNA testing on himself, Parker, Angelo, and Lyle because they were all Red Files. That's how they learned Lyle was Parker's (thought to be) dead twin brother. SO Jarod and Parker are definitely not related! Thank Goodness! :)

Anyway, I haven't seen any of the episodes, did they ever kiss? What is the nature of their relationship?
I have access to all the episodes, and I'd like to see them kiss, just once.

Miss Parker was Jarod's first kiss when he was a young kid (played by Ryan Merriman)
shareThey would be step siblings. Jarod's father's "seed" as they called it in the last few episodes of season 4 was put into Catherine who is Ms Parker's mom, so that would make them step siblings. Also I might add that in the 2nd movie island of the haunted Mr William Raines was said to be Miss Parkers father (and uncle).
shareeven if jarod didn't do a blood test to determine that parker wasn't his sister i doubt they would go there there were a few eppisodes where you could read under the subtext and see how jarod and parker felt for each other in gigilo when he called her and sent her the be mine valentine, in the eppi that jarod lost his memory brigget asked her if she had unresolved feelings for jarod and her mind skipped to the kiss they shared when they were children and the movies that were made seem to point that way i haven't had the opportunity to see either movie but when alex said you don't know how important she is to you i don't think it refered to them being siblings now this is just a guess but since the center controls everything and jarod was never suppose to leave but they would have wanted his abilities to go on so what if the idea was for them to have a child together knowing his abilities combined with her's but that is just my thoughts
i think if they were going to make them siblings they would have written their relationship differently more plitonic then how they actually did write them hopefully they will have a new movie to answer the questions hey if the fans of firefly can find a way to get a serenity movie this should be no problem it will all depend of the sales of the dvd sets
Personally, I hope they are not an item. That would make it too convenient for their lives to end that way. :)
I believe that if Jarod is not back with Zoe, that he should travel all the way back to the Park Ranger he met in the first season and be with her. Then they could create little stooges of their own. ;)

shareFirst of all, Jarod and Miss Parker are NOT, NOT, definely NOT brother and sister and they are practically each other's soul mates.
Sure, they've different relationships: Jarod (with the park ranger, Zoe, Rachel from "Profiler")and Parker (with That Asian Guy, Thomas). To be honest I hate Zoe, because she's annoying and gets on my nerves, but Parker doesn't!
I mean, while I was watching "IOTH", I was expecting them to express their relationship feelings to each other, and when they were about to kiss and were interrupted, I was "Aw Man" and darn it because they were so close. I was hoping that they were going to continue this relationship in the next movie.
They've known each other since they were kids and I know that they are destinied to be together (romantically)!
I agree. I was really looking forward to them teaming up against Raines and Lyle - the Centre wouldn't stand a chance.
The way that the second movie ended it is an absolutely possibility; Miss Parker did not sound very convinced when she said that 'you run and I chase' was the way that things have to be. And I mean seriously if this is not the direction they were heading in what was up with Jarod telling her "If you change the story the ending is up with you" - if this is not a hint of something I'm a monkey's uncle.
The episode where the guy that lock Jared and Miss Parker together in the hurricane comes back and wants Jarod dead shows clearly that Miss Parker is concerned about Jarod - and not in a sisterly fashion. this was one of my favorite episodes ever, it would have been the perfect place to change the dynamic of their relationship, I just wish that I can figure out what the creators were thinking.

first of all let me say that i am a solid supporter of "there no one for him but Miss Parker and there's no one for her but Jarod"
now why i say so:
1. there's no way that they are siblings.
2. i know Jarod is looking for his parents and a normal live, but i think that both of these woman (Zoe and park ranger) are just too normal for Jarod.
3. i don't think it would be possible for Jarod to have a relationship with anyone that does not understand the childhood he had, and Miss Parker does.
4. he has always been there for her and if you look at the small things, like the fact that she didn't shoot him (and she did have more than one oppertunity), she doesn't exactly hate him either.
So yes i think they would make a great couple and i WANT ANOTHER MOVIE!!
Nah I think Jarod and Zoe are perfect together. They just make such a sweet couple, what with the scene with them in the swimming pool and then the next morning where Zoe's cuffed him and is about to leave, also the one where they're in the bathtub together.
I used to think that Jarod and Miss Parker should be together but then there was Tom, and then Zoe. So yeah, i think Thomas was Miss Parker's "soulmate" as such and now she'll just be alone.
As an aside, I'm no longer ruling out Jarod and Miss Parker being related. I remember the red files but does that mean that they can't be half-brother/sister? If you watched the first Pretender movie, you might remember when Alex says to Jarod "you don't know just how important Miss Parker is to you and now you'll never find out" and also the last scene where Reines says "Godspeed, my children". Whilst that could have been just a random phrase he used, we gotta remember that Miss Parker ended up being Reines' daughter.
Well I guess we'll never know, seeing as it's been seven years with only a slim possibility of a final movie. Oh well, I guess I just tell myself that it's a happy ending..

Yeah, when Raines said "my children," it definitely scared the crap out of me! I always thought they had this very tense relationship where they never had the chance to get together. Maybe if things become normal they can get to know each other better and POSSIBLY become an item. Seeing them get married would be a little too much, though. I hope they're not brother and sister. I'm sort of on the fence now.
