The middle hour or so was deleted.
I thought the first 10 mins and last 20 mins were the best part of the film, I loved the ending but i thought the middle was all so trivial.
Also, is there any sense of continuity to this series? hasn't pinhead been killed about 5 times?
Ummm... no. Pinhead got "killed" once before at the end of Hellbound by another cenobite after he betrayed Hell. The ENTIRE plot of Part 3 is about his ressurection. He's killed once and for all, for all time, in the far future at the end of Bloodline, but that's after the other sequels.
Also, I wouldn't say the middle was a waste. It's a puzzle and many vital clues are given throughout as Trevor peices together what really happened and the OTHER story with Kirsty and Pinhead's deal.
