Question regarding Ashley Laurence

How much screen time does Ashley Laurence (Kristy) have considering it says she dies in a car crash? Thanks

I don't know the number, but she appears in brief flashbacks throughout the movie which add up to something similar to Pinhead's screen time in the dtv movies (I don't know if you've seen any of them yet).

I have only seen the first two Hellraiser films. I've read that all the other sequels after those two was originally plots for different films but made into a Hellraiser by the studios to cash-in.

I believe Hellraiser III and IV were written as Hellraiser films. As was the newest one, Revelations, but that was a steaming pile of crap that was only made to secure the rights to the franchise. Kirsty has a bit of screentime, mainly towards the end, but she is crucial to the plot. I would also recommend checking out a deleted scene with Kirsty and Pinhead that ties the film together with the first two Hellraisers even more. You can find it on Youtube. I've heard this is the only Hellraiser sequel since the first two films that Clive Barker actually approves of.

I will have to check it out. It's good that Dean Winters is the lead he was one of my favourite characters in the TV show OZ.

As Fidget said, Hellraiser III and Hellraiser: Bloodline were Hellraisers from the beginning, both written by Pete Atkins, who wrote Hellbound: Hellraiser II. But there's some doubt about the origins of Hellraiser: Hellseeker. 5, 7, and 8 are all accounted for.

The script that would become Hellraiser: Inferno (the fifth movie) was written by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Day the Earth Stood Still) while he was in screenwriting school. It was selected by the Weinsteins to become a Hellraiser sequel so he along with Paul Harris Boardman rewrote it to incorporate the Hellraiser mythology and he directed it himself.

The most that is known about Hellseeker is Kirsty Cotton was not originally the wife of the main character, though her name was also Kirsty (probably as a callback to the original Kirsty).

Deader (the seventh) was written by the writer of the 13 Ghosts remake, Benjamin Carr, aka Neal Marshall Stevens. His script was converted into a Hellraiser without his approval and wasn't happy about it.

The eight movie, Hellworld, originated from a film treatment for a proposed movie called Dark Can't Breathe, written by Joel Soisson.

The house used in the first Hellraiser is a 20 minute walk from where I live.

The newest Hellraiser I saw a click on Youtube it's not even the original guy playing Pinhead.

That would be the ninth, Revelations. It was reportedly only made so the Weinsteins wouldn't lose the film rights to Hellraiser and thus was made as quickly and cheaply as possible, which is why Doug Bradley declined to return.

I also read that they only wanted to pay him the amount of a new fridge.
