Kirsty...Evil? No!

No. I don't think Kirsty is what most people are call EVIL. Hell no. Kirsty has been through a lot of bullcrap in her life and she's tired of people trying to manipulate and hurt her. I can understand her anger. And people are talking rubbish that she gave 5 INNOCENT PEOPLE to Pinhead just to save herself. PLEASE! They're not so innocent if you ask me! Her stupid bastard of a husband tried to kill her and cheated on her with his sleazy mistresses. And his best friend was in on the planned murder plot. I'm tired of you guys calling her sadistic, corrupted, and heartless! You guys are making her out to be WAY MORE OF A VILLIANESS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS!

I've been hearing that the three women that Trevor has slept with didn't deserve to be taken to Hell. Well, maybe not. But, then again, they shouldn't have been involved with a MARRIED MAN in the first place! Also, since the married man is NOT a good man at all.

First of all, if you'll notice, NONE of her 5 soul victims WERE NOT anybody off the street like in the very first "Hellraiser" where Julia killed anybody for Frank. That's what you would really call EVIL. Kirsty's victims were people
that were making her suffer. Y'all didn't hear her angry and stressed out voice during the flashback in the movie when she was talking to Trevor about one of the women being in their house when he had an affair? She simply wanted revenge on them all and got it.
She probably wouldn't go out and just simply pick a random person off the street and kill them like Julia did or give them to Pinhead. No. It would have to be somebody who DESERVES IT and/or wants the "pleasure".
Kirsty had gotten only the people that tampered with her married life(her husband and the three mistresses) and attempting to end her life(once again, her husband and his friend). That's five people! That's five souls! That's all! She didn't include anyone else! Nobody like any of the other office workers and so on. Okay?

I would say that she still has a conscience.
She may have done some things that are not moralistic and is very dark on her part, but in a situation where you're in the same dangerous sitiation like before, what other option do you have? In order to survive, you have to play 'dirty'.

She still, somehow, deliver five people to the Cenobites where they will be tortured for eternity. Sure, theirs pleasure in the pain but it's ceartainly not what they wanted. They WERE innocent of nothing else than infidelity and that's not something punishable that way. Trevor was a B@5+@rd, no doubt, and the othr guy wa sin out their plan to kill Kirsty but the others did nothing wrong beyond sleep with a man who was interested in them.

Kirsty was selfish and vengful, clearly not positive aspects, and delivering people to the Cenobites for ETERNAL suffering is not a "Good" thing to do. There is of cours eno good and evil, as the film points out, only degrees. Pinhead is clearly toying with kirsty, trying to put her on a dark path where she'll do anything to survive.

Well, you're right on most things. Yes. Kirsty was acting very dark and 'EVIL' in a way. And yes, those other victims sort of were 'INNOCENT'. Kirsty is one of those characters who at some point during their lives get in touch with their 'dark sides' and having conflicts on what side to choose. What she did was wrong. She was doing things that she would probably not do.

But, you don't just go around sleeping with whomever you like, especially married men/women. Those three women commited adultery which is one of the main sins you shouldn't do. Kirsty may have been the best wife that she can be but with her husband messing up on her and trying to kill her(and also dealing with her mental illness of years dealing with losing everyone she loved), you're bound to go insane and do something horrible! It's horrible that she gave away five people to Pinhead but they were making her life a living H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS. As a matter of fact, like someone said here, she has been through some H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS(figurtively and literally).
She was just stressed out and completely tired of people trying to hurt and kill her! She was sick of it! She realized too late that she made the same mistake her father made:marrying someone that will ultimately betray you!
In my opinion, that was her real mistake.
Think about it, the stuff that she did was nothing compared to what Julia had done in the first two films. See, Kirsty may have done her dark deeds out of frustrations and vengeance, but Julia done her dark deeds out of selfishness and lust.

Like I said, neither of the five victims WERE NOT people off the street and there weren't anymore people. She didn't include anyone else. She didn't kill any unsuspecting strangers, now did she?

You know what? I'm sorry. I'm just being defensive. We have different views on how to look at the what's happened in this movie and how Kirsty turned out. No wonder there are a lot of people saying that this movie wasn't all that great.
If only the story and the whole concept made more sense.

It was great because it did interetsing thigns with Kirsty. it made her start down the path of Julia. Her victims were innocnet. Sins don't count for squat, cheating isn't something punishable by detah you know? Its not nice emotionally and its a horrible thing to do but that's it. The women weren't even cheating, that was Trevor... he didn't have to sleep with them but they had NO responsibility to not sleep with him. Sage esepcially helped people and was a spirutal person... none of them deserved to be tortured eternally.

And they were unsuspecting strangers really. They didn't really know Kirtsy and didn't expect to be taken to Hell.

What kirsty did was sacrifice people for her own safety. That isn't a "good" thing to do. Kirsty's stepping into darkness which is what Pinhead wants, and it's a great storyline that really should have been followed up.

"cheating isn't something punishable by detah you know?"

It has been punishable by death in Abrahamic times and is practiced elsewhere in the world, like Iran.

Tee Hee! There are 2 ass(es) in "assassin".

Well, Trevor was such a handsome, nice guy. Is it any wonder he cheated on the evil bitch?

So does this mean...goodbye 'good' Kirsty? Oh well.
Poor Kirsty. All that badness really rubbed off on her, huh?

Btw, just like some of the others, I'm creating a fan fiction dealing with Pinhead and Kirsty, and other things. I've been writing it for a few weeks now. See, my fic takes place a few years after this movie. Kirsty still has the box with her and is keeping it underwraps until the time is right. She meets this old woman at some convention whom later she befriended. One day, the woman noticed that Kirsty has the Lament Configuration and badly wants it. But, it's not what you think. The woman really wants the box because of the history she has with it herself, well sort of. All I'm gonna say here is that it has something to do with the woman's daughter. That's all you need to know.
Then, there's someone else in the story that also wants the box. And that person wants to obtain it to 'set free' the cenobites and tortured souls on earth for his/her insane conquest, and more. And all the while, Pinhead is growing increasingly interested towards Kirsty and is amazed(like in this movie) that she brought the pathetic, (possibly)evil souls to him. But, he 'feels something' different towards her than ever before. I'm still adding more things and thinking more ideas to it.

If you are counting sins then Kristy is committing the greatest sins. Thou shall not kill from the 10 commandments. And Wrath of the 7 deadly sins.

People are just saying she's evil because they want to see a Kirsty/Pinhead pairing. People, it's NOT there and it's NOT happening. Get over it.

I just call it lazy writing. They should have committed to doing a full-on Hellraiser sequel where Kirsty and Pinhead are actively involved, as opposed to just doing glorified extended cameos.

They are innocent. Nobody deserves to be tortured and murdered for being involved in infidelity.

Yikes! That certainly says a lot about you that you don't consider what she does to other people to save herself evil. You probably need some meds before you act on your psychopathic thoughts.

Having an affair isn't a death sentence lol. As for Trevor be planned to kill Kirsty so he got what he deserved. Assuming his co-worker was really involved in a plot to kill Kirsty than yes he got what he deserved.

The others not so much. Yes it's wrong to have an affair, but if you think cheating equals death you got issues

I don't think Kirsty is evil--not yet. But she's felt its pull once and it . . . felt . . . good. That's why she was happy/relieved that the box went down with the car and why she appeared so disquieted when the detective handed to her at the end of the movie. As long as she has the box, she will be tempted to use it and to experience it once again. She's not evil, yet, but now that she has been tempted by it, that temptation will always be part of her soul.

That being said, I don't think the others were entirely innocent. Her husband and his co-worker plotted to kill her. The boss was a manipulative woman who used sex to control her employees and made job advancement predicated on sexual favors. Just being a sleazy mistress is not enough to warrant being Cenobite fodder, but that kid of behavior is definitely on its way to being evil.
