Bunyip Song and Radiohead

has anyone else noticed a slight resemblance between the song 'Bunyip Moon'
played while Dot is in the cave examining the Aboriginal cave drawings, and
Radiohead's track "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" Track 12 on their 1995 Album
The Bends?
....or is it just me?

This movie has a special meaning to me. In a bad and good way. I haven't seen Dot And The Kangaroo in about 20 years but when I listen to Street Spirit , it does make me feel strange. So I think your right.

That's the very reason why my Ears pricked up when I Heard "Street spirit(Fade out)" for the first time. I knew I had heard a very similar tune somewhere in my childhood many years ago, and it turned out to be "Bunyip Moon"! Street spirt(Fade out) has a big resemblance to Bunyip Moon; Did Radiohead ever watch 'Dot and the Kangaroo'?

I analysed both songs on a Wave-editor and learned how to play them both and if you take Street Spirit, slow it down 35% and play it behind Bunyip moon it's a perfect counter melody and if you remove the accents, invert Street Spirit and then add on accents again its the same riff, including the key.

Someone should put somthing about Bunyip moon on the Street Spirit Wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Spirit_%28Fade_Out%29

Problem is, the song's better than anything Radiohead ever did.
