Was this an HBO 'mainstay' in the early 80s?

I just remember HBO not having a huge library of films back in the early 80's. They continually played the same ones over and over again. I think this is one of them...does anyone know if they sing the "Cucoborro Sits by the Old Gum Tree" in this film? Let me know...thanks!

I don't think they sang the Gum Tree song, though I distinctly remember the Willy Wagtale song (who I believe was a Kookaburra).

Snakes hiss
Dingos wail
but no one has a sound
Like Willy Wagtale

Yep, several a Saturday morning at around 5 or 6 a.m. HBO would air this. And it was before we had a VCR so I'd set my alarm after looking in the TV Guide the night before. Get myself up early before all the mainstay cartoons came on around 7 a.m., like Smurfs, Snorks Etc.

"Jesus, does anyone?"
