Simon & Simon .... where's the connection ?

Hey, "Witchblade" rocks...

Under the "post topics" section of a movie page there is usually a list of movies/TV shows that are under the heading "If you liked ... then we recommend..." For "Witchblade" the recommended one is SIMON & SIMON.
What the hey ?
That show is so ancient it is even beyond my time ! It has nothing to do with Sci-Fi or comics or even a female hero(ine)... just a couple of Hillbillies with big hats and big cars running a detective agency. Maybe it was a fun show in its time but I don't see the connection ....

You're right, there isn't one.
Sometimes the ways of IMDB are a riddle to comprehension.
Still, S&S was the best of the big hats shows. Kind of a Dukes of Hazard for ppl with an IQ higher than 12. It came from the same stables as Magnum P.I., Remington Steele and Quantum Leap, so, that's saying something.
