Its sad because I don't know much about her rehab situation or if she was able to fight her alcoholism - but its like damn if they could have only given her a chance to prove that she was doing better and going thru the 12 steps at meetings maybe they would have given the show another fighting chance to go on. I have seen recent pictures of her and she looks really good, I feel bad for her because there is always a reason why someone turns to drinking or substance abuse; something must have happened to her - the reason I say this is because I have a sister who had a substance abuse problem and she couldn't drink either because she didn't know when to stop, my family found out that she was "taken advantage of in a forceful way by someone she thought was her friend" and instead of telling us she turned to substance abuse; she has going thru rehab and is better but it will always be a problem for her; I am so proud of her because she is doing a lot better but the pain of what happen will be w/her forever. I wish Yancy the best, and that they could somehow make a TV movie for the devoted fans. Xen11 I will definitely check out what you have put together, I am such an avid fan of Witchblade and was literally heartbroken when they canceled it; I wish in my heart they gave Yancy a chance, but I guess the "suits at TNT" didn't want to put on the money or even want to "believe" that Yancy was doing better w/her disease (bc that is what it is).. Again thanks for the info on your hard work you put together.
P.S. Sorry I got so personal about my sister, but my family and I have been through it w/my sister; I just wanted to let you know a little insight on why I feel so sad for Yancy (who is such an amazing and beautiful actress- always) She made Witchblade a cult fave, along w/the cast as well; I loved the whole cast as well.
