Closing credits poem

I watched two versions of When it was a Game on loan from the public library. Is it the first one that has James Earl Jones, Jason Robards, and others taking turns with verses that remind me of Grantland Rice and "how they played the game." Can anyone confirm the poem is by Rice? Where can I find a copy.

People don't know who he was anymore.

I guess I will have to buy at least the first two to get the poem at the end.

It only took nearly a decade for an answer. Yes it was by Grantland Rice. Here is a link to the poem.
