Unexpectedly good and unpredictable French film! Worth watching!

I admit I'm not a huge fan of French films or actors, and I watched this film mostly for the sake of its story. But to my surprise, it turned out to be an interesting attention-grabbing thriller. Despite not starring very attractive actors, the characters and the plot are so twisted and tangled you feel compelled to keep watching just to see what happens next.
Once you go past the awkwardness caused by the initial scenes conveying sexual frustration and involuntary sexual abuse, you can totally see a special connection forming between the lead characters and a more profound caring for one another. Unlike other films, the story-line is not forced, but rather rushed by the events.
These being said, a completely worth watching French action film with a hint of lust and passion (would not call it 'love').
