jack black

I hear Jack Black is like HILARIOUS in this or some thing and I'm just wondering if he's as funny in this as some people say he is.

i think he's hilarious is pretty much every role i've seen him in

I'd suggest you watch it or some thing and see for yourself.

He is Jack Black, same as he is in all his movies, but that isn't a bad thing

To be honest, I'm not always amused with JB's shenanigans but the second he popped up in this film I just couldn't help smiling-laughing. For some reason, he IS amazingly hilarious here. highlights: him barfing on his bro's novella (his whole attitude during the scene and "I don't feel good"), him vacuuming frantically in his mess of a room, and him sporting those ugly white underpants)))))))). Man, that's funny!

This was one of the few movies I actually really enjoyed him. He played the stoned out of his mind character down to a "T".

i remember watching this movie on video right after it came out (yes, a cassette!!) and just wondering who the hell this hilarious dude was. i knew he was gonna be huge, and just as i suspected, that following summer he was in a little movie called 'school of rock' and was suddenly an A-list movie star. 'orange county' was the first movie i ever saw him in. coincidentally, that same year i saw a (far worse) flick called 'out cold', and there was this absolute scene-stealer named 'zach gagali-something' in it - and i thought the exact same thing: he OWNED every scene he was in, and made a really pretty crap movie very watchable. of course we all know mr. 'gagali-something' as the irreplaceable zach galifianakis, and i was again right about him becoming the star he is now. it was weird man, cos i'm usually terrible at picking out future stars (dane cook to me was always just gonna be another forgotten hack when i saw his "comedy" "routine" for the first time), and it's weird that these two occurrences happened so close to each other.

I first saw Jack Black in Cable Guy, he played Matthew Broderick's friend in the movie, before Jim Carrey started stalking him, but Jack Black didn't make much of an impression on me so I didn't guess he would blow up to be a huge comedic star. The first movie I saw him in where he did make a BIG impression was the movie High Fidelity with John Cusack, Black was hilarious in that. Then he came out with Orange County, and it took off from there. But neither Galifanakis nor Jack Black became stars overnight by any means, Black was doing bit parts in movies all the way back in the early 90s, it took him a decade to find fame - being friends with Ben Stiller didn't hurt either. And same with Zack G., he was doing stand up and bit roles in films for years before he got his break out role in The Hangover. Now Black and Galafinakis are typecasted as the chubby weirdo, or goofball - but they do it well.

My biggest laugh might have been him taking his socks off before jumping in the pool.

Jack Black's scenes were the only thing I really liked about this this movie.

There's no "I" in team, but there is an "m" and an "e."

Jack absolutely makes this film, and some of us--and you know you're out there--dig him in his tighty whities.

Jack is hilarious in this film. The whole scene in the car with Sean, when he's talking about his t-shirt business is *beep* GOLD lol!

reply

LOL! Jack Black is completely hilarious in this film!

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
