Everyone Has a Past

I think it's ridiculous when a current lover asks you to destroy something, ANYTHING from your history or your past. Those are your memories to cherish and anyone who would ask you to do that is a control freak. In addition who would want a person in their life that hated all of their past lovers so much they destroyed their pictures? What does that say about that person, they can't end a relationship on good terms? All their relationships end in fury? What is the liklihood your relationship will be any better if that's true.

And let's just say you and this lover DON'T last, now all your stuff is gone. Not happening. SORRRY my history is part of me. And I frankly would LOVE to see and know about the people that my partner dated before, because it will tell me more about them. And hearing the stories is like peeking into their life.

Would you ask them to throw away their mother, father, brother, cousins too? Every person you date becomes your family for a time. Remember that.
