Worth Watching?

I have the film, but the more i read the more I don't want to watch it, i like dark films, but the rating suggests that it is not that good...
Do you recommend it?

If you really liked dark films, then you wouldn't be holding off from watching this. Its not that dark really.

Yes i'd highly recommend watching 'My Brother Tom'. Its a good film.

Where did you get your copy?

I got it from amazon.co.uk, for under a tenner too.

I have now seen it and it is really really good.
I was thinking of Mysterious Skin when i was thinking of dark, as that disturbed me deeply, but that is soo much darker than this (and i was younger then.)
And this is only rated 6ish, now i've seen it i think that rating is harsh.

Well I can tell you this.

I saw this film when I about 10-/11 years old. It was broadcasted on a Dutch broadcast station. It was night around 1PM and I wasn't supposed to watch it but I did.

Now 5/6 years later I still remember this film . Even though many things have happened in my life . So I think it's a quite disturbing film. Well it certainly was when I was 10.

Jesus I'm not suprised! This movie would have messed me up when I was ten. I saw a bit of Trainspotting on TV when I was left unattended when I was maybe five or six, then about six years later I saw it and remembered it from way bakc then - funny how things stay with you isn't it.
