so the message of this movie...

is that if you cross dress and steal someone's identity for a little while, everything will be okay in the end? right?

reply

lol

reply

lol. yup, cross dressing is the solution to everything

reply

haha. does anyone know the names of the songs in this movie?

reply

the "you're an ocean" song is by fastball

the "shala la la" is called "we're on the top of the world" by Juliana theory

and the "A sucker pinch, I'm out to lunch..." is by bowling for soup

The message I took from the movie was that low budget movies never do enough research to make situations totally realistic. I am not trying to slam the movie. There were so many things that were "incorrect" in the movie regarding motocross and how sanctioned series are run in the U.S. Overall, it is a great family movie that might motivate families to become involved in the wonderful sport of motocross. For mx racers, it is a true comedy, as it comes across very cheesy.

This song is NOT by Bowling For Soup :)

It's by a little-known group called Action League, from the "Interrupt this Program" album (and yes, its titled "Suckerpunch", haha. I tried to find this song like mad when the movie first came out, and was finally successful. :) I love this song.

twelfth night :)

twelfth night is my favorite shakepeare play everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

did anyone see wicker park? that's the play they were doing in that movie. also a movie about stolen identies. i just like these type of stories because it puts the characters in awkward situations that they have to get themselves out of. yup, awesome.

"that's what writers do. we cut ourselves open and bleed all over the page."

reply

wow that is so insanely freaky.

i JUST finished watching Wicker Park on Charter On Demand, then switched to Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star right after....i see the son in the family that Dickie moves in with and can't concentrate on the movie because i know i knew him from somewhere and it was annoying the hell out of me, so i got on here to see what movies he was in and there we go...Motocrossed. that's why i was in here to begin with. I literally just watched Wicker Park for the first time maybe 30 minutes ago and here you are in here asking if anyone has ever seen it. a few hours ago and i couldn't have truthfully said yes. i wouldn't have even know what it was.

ohmygosh mulan is about a cross dresser too! yeah i love the twelfth night, we did it in school a few years ago and this kid was like "so since they only let guys do plays back then would that make it a guy pretending to be a girl pretending to be a guy?" and then i saw wicker park with my mom and when the girl was reading her lines i was like "ohmygosh i know that line!" cuz that had been my part in the play.
