'Don't T'ip on Your ROOOBE Li'l Wizard!'

Lol, I love that scene. I say that line all the time.

This is my favorite video/computer game of all time. Actually...it's tied with Monkey Island. I still have the same Loom CD that I played Loom on for the first time when I was about 8 years old. Luckily it still works in these fancy, updated computer software...but my original Monkey Island floppy discs don't work. I found the original Doom series on an up-to-date CD pack a few years ago and was ecstatic, but they've never re-released Monkey Island or Loom. I wish they would, so the younger generations could experience it. These logic games were so fun and actually made you use your brain!

I don't understand why they think video games and movies require all these fancy, "realistic" graphics. I like the old fashioned video games and movies where the animation actually looked like animation. That's what made it fun. Hopefully they'll come to their senses eventually.

They released a lot of old games on Steam in July..

I mean in a legal, reliable format...where we can pay for it and support the people who made it, while at the same time show them that these games are still appreciated and that we want more.

Lucasarts and other developers sell games legally through Steam, and if you want more, they have released episodic Tales of Monkey Island minigames, along with Sam and Max. I'd like to see Loom continued, though.

Ha, came back to this message board after 5 years, to find that Loom is still quite unpopular here, lol. 3 posts on the board!?

Here we are, 5 years from this conversation, and I've finally caught up with the times. You were right about Steam: my husband stated using it and has gotten me into it too. I was quite weary of downloading music, movies, and videogames back then, always afraid of viruses, lol.

We've been downloading all of our classic games, and our 4 year old son loves watching us play them. He loves Bobbin and Hetchel.
