The smoking

Searched this board and saw no comments on the smoking in this movie. Juxtaposed against all the people dying and their deaths and dead bodies being ignored was the best symbolism in this movie. I guess in the near future when the world is on the brink of disaster, when starving people begin flying and we realize that people die from lack of love smoking won't be such a bad thing.
