the movie quotes

holy crap those are hilarious. if those are verbatim what lrh said, then only the insane would buy into scientology. has anyone out there seen this? where can i find a copy?

I haven't seen the movie, but I have seen interviews given by Elron where he spoke about Scientology, and those quotes do sound like things he'd say. Read the Wikipedia entry on Scientology. It's about the least biased info I've seen on the web either for or against, but it's still an hilarious read.

I like how they are all for the "advancement of man" and all this high minded stuff, but they basically think that the insane are so hopeless that they should be discarded from society. I think you would have to be insane to buy into any of LRon's garbage.

Oh, the full piece is hilarious. Hubbard freuently contradicts himself, rambles incomprehensibly and comes out with such profound gems as "brain is brain". Just why the interview has been colourised and remastered in 5.1 surround sound for the DVD beggars belief as well!

Check your local library. Scientology "donates" all kinds of introductory books and videos to libraries.

And, yes, the quotes are all real.
