So damn underrated

Can notunserstand, why this movie is only getting a 5.3 Rating???
It really crabbed me to my seat and i really wanted to give it an 8, but changed my mind and gave it a 7, cause to be fair it is a Little bit cheesy sometimes. But it's also scary and frightening as hell. Really dont't understand that low rating...

I agree, criminally underrated film.

You people keep somehow mispelling "over" as "under". At 5.whatever, this movie is painfully overrated.

Yeah, it had potential- but the story made very little sense. I don't need it spoon fed to me, but come on! What was the deal with 1) the snake and egg at grandpas house- that never went anywhere! 2) the murdered children. Why would they be angry at the next set of victims. If they were mad at grandpa, well okay, I would understand. 3) if they had only been there for 3 weeks, how did Regina have a boyfriend that was so willing to help her in the mysteries of the house. Also, how did she get on a swim team within three weeks? 4) who were the freaky people in the picture? Never developed that at all. We're they human? Demonic? Male or female, even? Just stupid to not use that whole creepy aspect as part of story development. 5) how did Paul get bruised after all? Did the ghost children beat him? Poorly thought out. 6) the architect. What ultimately happened to him whilst traveling to grandpas address? I presume he was killed, but by what, the "darkness?" By the trio of freaky? How? He wasn't in the "haunted" house. This whole movie could have been pretty cool, but it was disappointing at best.

You do need it spoonfed. The house was built as a portal where a cult would sacrifice their children to open it. Only one child survived. Her father. When the father was killed, the gate was opened.

Seems to me you can't comprehend the word "under"
