Ararat belongs to everyone

Does anybody know why the Armenians believe Mount Ararat or Agri is their holy mountain and it belongs to them?

It's because they believe that Noah's Ark landed on that mountain, and that the Armenian people descended from those who were inside the Ark. The only problem here is, according to the story, all of HUMANITY is supposed to have descended from Noah's Ark!!

Why only the Armenians? What about the billions of other people? What about the Turks?

I feel as though this chauvinistic conception of the universal myth goes a long way to express the Armenian mentality; self-righteous, hypocritical, self-worshiping and hateful. Sorry, but it's the truth.

This Armenian belief proves that the Armenians have no more of a claim on Ararat than the Ethiopians or the Siamese.
