Anyone interested in seeing it? Do you think it’ll work?

I wonder if they will have the cartoon Lizzie in between scenes like the original show.

reply

Yes and she’ll have the same look as before.

This showrunner (Terri Minsky) wanted to make the reboot of this classic show ("Lizzie McGuire") more ensemble like. That A- list actress (Hilary Duff) who got her start on the show wanted no part of that and wants it focused on her. She already does an ensemble show ("Younger"). So, she does what she does best and had the showrunner fired just like she had the actress (Lalaine played "Miranda") back in the day fired for taking too much attention away from the star. (Hilary Duff's Lizzie McGuire revival put on hold as original creator Terri Minsky exits the Disney Plus show) (Why hasn't Lalaine's Miranda been announced for the Lizzie McGuire revival?)

This back in the day A list tweener is now an A-/B+ list actress who was looking forward to reliving her glory days in a reboot. The thing is though, once people started working with her again, they realized why they hated working with her before and now, things were worse. So, things are probably not going to work out and there won't be a reboot. Hilary Duff/"Lizzie McGuire" (‘Lizzie McGuire’: How the Disney Plus Revival Ground to a Halt (EXCLUSIVE))
